The large beach of Saint Jean de Monts
Between the ocean, beaches and trades boulevard, find the large beach of Saint Jean de Monts which regroups the beach of St Hilaire, des Demoiselles, des Oiseaux, de la Baigneuse and l’Estacade. Plenty of entertainments in summer with Mickey clubs, the big wheel, funfair and festivals.

Beaches of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie – 15 minutes by car
The large beach of St Gilles Croix de Vie
This beach is 3 km long. Everything is there to enjoy a pleasant moment and to finish the day in one of the restaurants of the fill.

A perfect beach for naturists! Wild landscapes with dunes, find this beach of 3 km long situated between Saint Gilles Croix de Vie and Brétignolles sur mer.

This beach is situated at the north of Brétignolles sur mer after the beach of the Petit Pont. Between rocks and sandbanks, you will enjoy this area at low tide. At high tide the beach of la Sauzaie becomes a surf spot.

The beach of la Normandelière is a family beach. The fine sand, the nautical base and the pancake house of la Normandelière will delight you.

Just after the beach of la Normandelière, find the beach des dunes 1 and the beach des dunes 2.
You will find a zone for surfing at the North and a zone for kite surfing at the South. The large beach is controlled thanks to two aid stations; you will easily find a place to lay your beach towel.

Beaches in Olonne sur Mer – 25 minutes by car
Beach of Sauveterre
This beach is situated next to the state forest of Olonne. Large beach with fine sand in the middle of nowhere, you will find a little snack and an aid station.

The large beach
This is a beach which longe le remblai of les Sables d’Olonne. It is a car-free zone at night between July and August. It allows you to move freely between the beach and shops/restaurants.

At only 22 km from the continent (boat trip of 1 hour), you will find a little corner of paradise! This island is recognized for its wild coast always preserved and its tranquillity. You can choose to take a bike ride around the island or to take your time to admire the little creeks.

Noirmoutier, a unique area...
Discover the show of the tide of the Gois. If you arrive on the island at high tide use the bridge which spans the strait. After the bridge, all along the road, you will find some tourists attractions to visit! For more relaxation continue on your way up to the beach du Bois de la Chaise with its boom and typical villas which border the ocean.

Poitevan marshes, a generous nature
A boatman will explain you the fauna and flora of the marshes while you will be sitting on a little boat through the marshes. The Poitevin Marshes is also known for its multitude of hiking trail and cycle paths. Green paradise also called the “Green Venice”!

Relaxation and friendliness at the Pin Parasol! You can rent bikes directly at the reception of the campsite for family outings and relaxed holidays on marked paths of the Lac du Jaunay. The Pin Parasol offers you a large range choice: for kids and adults, there is something for everyone!
The Pin Parasol propose you also water activities on the beautiful Lac du Jaunay situated next to the campsite.
Between canoes and pedal boats, you have the choice!
If you present your ticket which is available at the reception of the campsite, you will benefit of -50% on all our crafts.
*Available from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12 am at the pontoon of la Baudrière, depends on the availability.
Towns & History
In addition of beaches which will make you spend beautiful holidays, the Vendée it is also its patrimony: its towns and its history!
The wine route of Brem-sur Mer at 10 minutes from our campsite will lead you also to the heart of fascinating histories: visits, tasting, meetings await you! Discover a special territory, vineyard of la Côte de Lumière.
- Coex: Situated at 5 min by car from the campsite, this little town gathers shops, bakery and markets.
- St Julien des Landes: At only 8 minutes from the campsite, retrieve the town of St Julien des Landes. Between the Lac du Jaunay, plentiful hiking paths and the amusement park Le Grand Défi, there are many things to do!
- St Gilles Croix de Vie : Seaside resort, markets and many entertainments in July and August.
- Brétignolles-sur-mer: Seaside resort, markets, miniature Vendée museum, mini-golf…
- Les Sables d’Olonne: Seaside resort with its magnificent bay, fishing port, marina, shell museum, zoo, markets, l’île Penotte and plenty of entertainments in summer.
- La Roche-sur-Yon: Prefecture of the Vendée, architecture, history and shopping streets are waiting for you.
- Apremont: A history and a fortress built in the middle ages: Discover tiny streets made with stones and the castle of Apremont. A history need to be discovered!

– Every morning: Les Halles Centrales (closed on Mondays other than July and august – food market)
– From Monday to Saturday: fishmonger’s from 8h30 am to 12h30 am and from 4 pm to 6h30 pm (food market). On Sunday mornings in July and August.
